If your inventory has different measurement unit for a product as dozen and pieces; ton, kilogram and grams.
Run step below:
Input the conversion on 3 UNIT OF MEASUREMENT FORMULA in INVENTORY MENU.
Enter stock code in Inventory Master file as example below:
First stock code (Highest): 00001 for BOX unit
Second stock code (Middle): 00001A for DOZEN units
Third stock code (Smallest): 00001B for PIECES unit
(Attention: Second and third code must have an additional different code in the right after the first code)
When the product access negative quantity, use MEASUREMENT PROCESS to transfer from the higher measurement to lower or from lower to higher.
Also use the PROCESS TO CHANGE THE LOWER MEASUREMENT PRODUCT PRICE for calculation of the price and cost of lower measurement unit from the higher unit according to the formula.
Even the MEASUREMENT FORMULA only have 3 kind of measurement unit in a set of formula: highest, middle and smaller stock code, but you can create more then 3 unit by adding another set of formula with the smaller become the highest and continue with another code in middle and smaller, this circle can continue unlimited.
If you have only 2 unit of measurement, enter only the highest and middle code and leave the smaller blank.
Inventory report form measurement system are: 2 UNIT OF MEASUREMENT REPORT and 3 UNIT OF MEASUREMENT REPORT. To make this report available, you have to enter your stock code as describe above.
